    Please read carefully. This document outlines the risks, responsibilities, and limitations that apply when using Toy Tech Services.

    Toy Tech Services is a technology platform only. We connect customers with independent Pros. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work. You assume all risk associated with services.

    1. Platform Role (No Service Performance)

    • Toy Tech Services is a technology platform only.
    • We connect customers with independent service providers ('Pros') and facilitate booking, communication, and payment.
    • We DO NOT perform repairs or services, supervise or control any work, or guarantee outcomes, safety, or quality.

    2. Independent Pros

    Section 2 of 15

    • All Pros are independent contractors — not employees, agents, or representatives of Toy Tech Services.
    • Pros are solely responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, safety procedures, and compliance with laws, licensing, and insurance.

    3. Assumption of Risk

    • By using Toy Tech Services, you acknowledge and agree that mechanical, electrical, marine, and RV repairs involve inherent risks.
    • Damage, failure, or unforeseen issues may occur.
    • Repairs may reveal additional problems or cause new issues.
    • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with services booked through the platform.

    4. Real-World Risks (Non-Exhaustive)

    • Mechanical: engine damage, oil leaks, coolant leaks, overheating, loss of compression, drivetrain or transmission failure.
    • Electrical: short circuits, battery failure, ECU faults, wiring damage, sensor malfunctions.
    • Safety-Critical: brake failure, steering or suspension issues, tire or wheel failure.
    • RV / Marine: water intrusion, roof leaks, propane system issues, plumbing or electrical faults, generator or slide-out failures.
    • General: cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, broken plastics), pre-existing or hidden defects becoming visible, delays due to parts, weather, or diagnosis complexity.

    5. Scope, Estimates & Change Orders

    • All quotes are estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
    • Additional issues may be discovered during service.
    • Additional work requires customer approval ('change order').
    • Final costs may differ from initial estimates.

    6. Customer Responsibilities

    • Provide accurate and complete information.
    • Disclose prior repairs, modifications, or damage.
    • Ensure safe working conditions (access, lighting, stable ground).
    • Remove personal belongings before service.
    • Follow safety recommendations after service.
    • Failure to do so may increase risk and liability.

    7. Workmanship & Warranties

    • Any workmanship guarantee is solely provided by the Pro, not Toy Tech Services.
    • Parts warranties are provided by manufacturers or suppliers.
    • Toy Tech Services does not provide warranties of any kind.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    Section 8 of 15

    • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toy Tech Services is NOT LIABLE for: property damage, personal injury or death, mechanical or electrical failure, misdiagnosis or incomplete repairs, loss of use, towing, lodging, or downtime, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
    • This includes damages caused by Pros, customers, or third parties.

    9. Liability Cap

    • If Toy Tech Services is found liable for any reason, total liability is limited to the greater of:
    • The amount paid through the platform in the past 12 months, OR $100.

    10. Pre-Existing Conditions

    • Toy Tech Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, undisclosed modifications, wear and tear, or latent or hidden defects.

    11. Delays & Uncontrollable Factors

    • We are not responsible for delays caused by parts availability, shipping issues, weather, customer availability, or diagnostic complexity.

    12. Test Drives & Operation

    • Test drives or system checks may be required — these involve inherent risks.
    • You are responsible for inspecting your vehicle or equipment after service and confirming safe operation before continued use.

    13. Indemnification

    Section 13 of 15

    • You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Toy Tech Services from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:
    • Services performed by a Pro.
    • Your use of the platform.
    • Any dispute between you and a Pro.

    14. No Guarantee of Outcome

    • We do not guarantee that issues will be fixed.
    • We do not guarantee that repairs will last.
    • We do not guarantee that additional problems will not occur.
